ESPN Baseball Soap Opera
•June 25, 2008 • Leave a CommentI have been working with ESPN at Arnold Worldwide in Boston for the past 7 months and I wanted to showcase one of the projects I have been working on. Each year Fantasy Baseball Kicks off an annual sign up process. Fantasy Baseball is a long game, it runs for six months out of the year and is a daily task for any sports contributor. It’s an endless drama, so we encouraged ESPN to create a campaign around a day time soap opera. The campaign consisted of 8 TV spots that were shown on ESPN and through a micro site that people could interact with.
The entire production was shot in New York City at ABC studios on the “One Life To Live set. We used the original director and actors from the ABC show to create our own ESPN Endless Drama show piece. ESPN anchors, from Sports Center and MLB players, Chase Utley, Hanley Ramirez, Jorge Posada, Torii Hunter all appeared in the spots. www.locomation.com/espn

•June 24, 2008 • Leave a CommentCarlson Marketing group in Minneapolis hired us to create a idea around there new department “DoorC”. The idea was to encourage new creative talent to work for the Agency. Creative Director Todd Dexter drew a sketch on a piece of paper, It was a door with a letter C on it. The mystery behind the door could never be shown. We took care of the rest! Bjorn Meisner a Minneapolis photographer and I scouted alley ways in Downtown Minneapoils to the North East side. The temperature was a warm -10F. The shoot took one night. The site was made up of numerus shots that I composited together of 2 weeks.
